Hemp Yarn -

From Romania, rich natural color, wetspun hemp yarn.

This is the fine quality hemp that is indistinguishable from good quality tow linen. Use as you would linen.

16/1 and 16/2 ideal weights for weaving.

16/1 works with 16/2 or 20/1 cotton as well as 16/1 or 12/1 linen.

16/2 is comparable to an 8/1 or 16/2 linen and works with 10/2 or 8/2 cotton or 8/2 cottolin.

16/3 and 16/6 are now in stock - for heavier needs.

I'm a Dike Sheep (Deutsches Weißköpfiges Fleischschaf). I'm grazing the dikes to keep the North Sea from flooding Schlewsig Holstein. I also have a nice, clean fleece.
